The name of the Association was then changed to “APNGOS Association” after shifting to Hyderabad. Akella Satyanarayana Murthy and Com Amanaganti Sree Ramulu were elected as President and General Secretaries of the Association. The Capital was shifted from Kurnool to Hyderabad in the year 1957.Com. In the year 1956, the combined state of Andhra Pradesh was formed on a linguistic basis by merging Hyderabad state (Present Telangana). The Govt of Andhra has Sanctioned recognition to the Assn in the year 1954 vide G.O.Ms.No.2493 dt.25-11-1954. I.Tayarao was the first President and General Secretaries of the Association.Īndhra State was separated from composite state of Madras in the year 1953. It was registered under the Societies Act at Eluru on 20-2-1950 with Reg. “Andhra Non-Gazetted Government Officers Association”.
